AERONAUTICS BOARD

Policy and general oversight of GFIA are the responsibility of the Kent County Aeronautics Board, a six-member body appointed by the Kent County Board of Commissioners. The Aeronautics Board comprises three Kent County commissioners and three citizen members, each serving staggered three-year terms.

Committee meetings are held in the Golden Eagle Room on the mezzanine level of the airport passenger terminal building. Board meetings are held in the International Room on the first floor of the airport passenger terminal building.
