DISABLED

Passengers with physical disabilities requiring special arrangements are advised to contact their airline in advance of their
flight to discuss their specific needs.
Assistance Animals
Guide dogs and other assistance animals are welcome in all public areas of the passenger terminal building. Please be advised
that assistance animals are required to be screened when entering the sterile area of the terminal. For more information on the screening
of assistance animals, please see the TSA's website pages dedicated to this subject.
Parking
Handicap parking is available in the short-term lot, main and east long-term lots, and the express shuttle lot. Complimentary airport parking shuttles, which service the long-term east and north lots as well as the express shuttle lot, are wheelchair lift equipped.
TDD Telephone Devices
TDD hearing impaired telephone devices are available in Concourses A and B and the main hall at the top of the ramp to Concourse
A.
Wheelchair Assistance
Individual airlines have wheelchairs available and airline personnel will be happy to assist passengers with boarding and exiting
the aircraft. To request wheelchair assistance, please go to your airline's ticket counter or to the Visitor Information Desk in the baggage
claim area.
Gerald R. Ford International's passenger terminal design allows wheelchair users and other physically impaired passengers to move from the terminal
curbside to the aircraft gates without the need to use elevators or escalators.
An elevator is available on the north side of the main hall for those who would like to visit the observation deck on our mezzanine level.
