GROUND HANDLING SERVICES
At Gerald R. Ford International Airport, several of our business partners offer Ground Handling Services to commercial passenger, cargo, charter,
and general aviation aircraft operators.
GSRX
Ground Service Equipment Maintenance -
GSRX is a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance company offering the following services:
Comprehensive preventative maintenance programs
- including basic preventative maintenance work and complete inspection services,
followed by required repairs
Repair service
- available 24 hours per day, seven days per week for emergency on-site repair
Standby
- assures on-time departure through supervised up/down loads in the event equipment
problems should arise
Equipment refurbishing
- from painting to engine replacement and structural work, refurbishing offers
an alternative to the rising cost of new ground support equipment
Pre-trips
- each piece of equipment is run through its respective functions and checked
for problems and correct fluid levels prior to each scheduled operation
Business solutions
- customized fabrication is available to accommodate customers with special needs
in the material/cargo handling industry

NORTHERN AIR
 Aircraft Maintenance -
Northern Air is a certified FAA repair station with a dedicated airline maintenance coordinator on staff. Technicians are available
seven days per week, 24 hours per day. All technicians are FAA certified and trained by major air carriers and component manufacturers.
Fuel Service -
Northern Air provides both into-plane and retail fuel services. All facilities and staff are fully ATA 103 and FAR 139 qualified. As a Phillips 66 designated "Phillips Performance Center," Northern Air maintains 115,000 gallons of dedicated jet fuel storage and a fleet of mobile refuelers.
Aircraft De-Ice -
Northern Air maintains two de-ice trucks capable of de-icing any air carrier aircraft. Types I and IV fluids are available. 16,000 gallons of fluid storage are maintained on-site.
Ground Service Equipment Maintenance -
Scheduled and on-call GSE maintenance is available, with experienced mechanics on staff.

SERVISAIR
 Aircraft De-Ice -
Servisair offers de-ice service with both Type I and Type IV fluids. 10,000 gallons of raw fluid storage are maintained on-site. State-of-the-art equipment is capable of carrying 3,600 gallons of fluid mix.
Aircraft Cleaning -
From general aviation to charter to scheduled commercial carriers, personnel are available to clean aircraft cabins during
flight operations or on a R.O.N.
Baggage Handling -
Servisair provides baggage loading and unloading for commercial and charter aircraft. Ground Service Equipment provided and maintained by Servisair technicians.
Cargo Handling -
Cargo is prepared for passenger aircraft, including Customs entries and aircraft loading. Servisair also offers handling of mail, valuables, and dangerous goods.
